When Lauren and Garry were planning their wedding, they had a hard time agreeing on a first dance song. He wanted a song that he had listened to repeatedly while serving in Iraq. She didn't like the song and wasn't a fan of the band's. So they settled on something else. Alone one night, Lauren played the song Gary loved so much. After listening to the lyrics she understood how much this song must have meant to him, helping him through his long tour, all while missing her and home. She had the dj switch the first dance songs at the last minute, establishing that this song will forever be "their" song.
